As the founder of The Writer's Cocoon workshop, Kendra has traveled the globe to facilitate writing workshops and to encourage and equip new and aspiring writers for the journey that lies ahead. As a highly decorated author of 18 successful books and one who has been sought after and contracted by multiple national publishers, she has always been open to share her knowledge and the backstory of her publishing success with others.
As a licensed minister of the gospel, a motivational speaker, and the visionary of The I.S.L.A.N.D. Movement (a faith-based empowerment ministry) Kendra has used her own life's unique testimony of love and loss and trial and triumph to spiritually recharge and motivate the masses through conferences, conventions, and other Christian platforms.
She has served as keynote speaker for Greek letter socials, church services and other faith-based events, book club conferences, literary festivals, and high school and college sponsored functions.
